Candle Performance
Candle Performance
Burn Time: 180g Candle - approximately 20 to 30 hours, depending on the wick size and burn environment.
Burn Time: 370g Candle - approximately 60–80 hours depending on the wick size and burn environment.
Room Size: 180g candles works best in small guest bedroom or bathroom. While the 370g candles are more suited to larger spaces, such as large bedrooms and lounge areas.
Slight Colour Change During or after burn: The combination of natural soy wax and certain fragrance oils can change the colour of the wax, especially if the fragrance oil used contains compounds like wood compounds, vanillin or certain other plant extracts. These ingredients may react with the heat, causing a yellowish or golden tint. This is normal and does not affect the candle’s performance or fragrance.
Crystals: A dusting of tiny crystals may occur on the surface of the wax during or after a burn, known as "frosting." or polymorphism. This natural characteristic of soy wax is harmless and does not hinder the candle’s ability to burn or release fragrance.
Wet Spots in the Jar: Wet spots occur when the wax contracts slightly and pulls away from the sides of the jar during normal changes in temperature, creating a wet appearance. These wet spots are purely cosmetic and will not affect the candle's functionality or scent throw.
